Deluxe starter kit made with bamboo
That's good for you and the environment 🙂
Is that a lot? Yes. But: in a garden box with 16 square plots, you can use all these seeds in 1 season. If you have leftovers, they'll keep for 3 more years.
Here's what you get:
MM-Klimmers: This seed assortment includes our climbing varieties: the 6 tastiest vegetables that grow with a trellis.
- Romano pole bean
- Snow pea
- Bacon bean
- Climbing zucchini
- Bush basil
- Dino kale
- Bibb lettuce
- Sugar snap
- Indian cress
- Winter pea
- Winter lettuce
- Lamb's lettuce
- NZ spinach
- Cos lettuce
- Bush bean
- Butter bean
- Asian salad mix
By far our most beautiful vegetable garden box. Made of thick bamboo planks and has a warm wood color. The bottom and legs are made from galvanized steel. Stylish and sustainably sourced.
Trellis made from sturdy tubing + net
A super sturdy trellis to grow climbers like beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, and climbing zucchinis: delicious.
Summer vegetables like zucchini and tomatoes need to be pre-sown first. This packet includes everything you need, plus you get full instructions in the Planty Gardening app.
7x 40L bags of MM-Mix
This is the key to success: with this soil mix, your plants will grow like weeds 😉
Ideal net pots for pre-sowing tomatoes and other summer vegetables. You get faster and better results than other pots.
1 package of superfood: MM-Plantfood
The MM-Mix lasts pretty much forever. It just needs some extra nutrients once in a while: that's the MM-Plantfood. This package will keep your soil mix rich and healthy for the next 2 years.
20 MM-Plantlabels + marker
After you've sown a patch, put a label on it right away. You don't want to forget what's under there. (You'll also put it in the app, but even then, trust me.)
Stainless steel trowel: MM-Schepje
A trowel is a great tool to have on hand. You won't use it so often, but when those moments come, you'll be happy to have it.
We include a grid with your garden box to mark off each square plot. The grid is made of flexible, white plastic strips that you assemble into the signature crisscrossed shape.
- the right time to sow
- exactly enough space for each plant variety
- from low to high
- harvesting early and often
- staggered sowing
- plant variation
You can find assembly instructions here.
Bamboo is also way more environmentally friendly than wood. It grows 10x faster (up to 1 meter per day!) and after they're harvested, they grow back.
The high-quality bamboo material has a warm wood color. The planks are smooth and easy to clean. They hardly age at all over time.
It's designed by Remi from Hoefman Engineering.
Safe & clean
The materials the bamboo planks are made of meet the strictest safety and environmental requirements.

Connectors / screws / legs & bottom
The planks are attached to each other with connectors and thick screws made from galvanized steel. The bottom and legs are too.
How do you keep the planks clean?
The bamboo will stay beautiful, year after year. But over time they will age slightly. Not nearly as much or as fast as wood does, but it's still something.
The advantage of bamboo is that - even after years of wear and tear - you can get it pretty close to its original color by oiling it. That's not an option for wood.
If you want to prevent discoloration from the start, the factory recommends treating the planks with a water-based oil made for outdoor wood, like Woca.
